Twin Pines Farm

Twin Pines Farm  uses a group of Maremma cross guard dogs.  We find them slightly more aggressive than the Great Pyrenese, with a stronger desire to stay close to their herd.  All of our dogs are raised with the goats and are also introduced to cows early on.  If you are interested in a pup, check the For Sale Page. 

Sasquatch aka Sassy

Sassy is our purebred Maremma.  She is the most aggressive towards people and is a great working dog.  You will rarely see her far from the herd.  She will be used in our breeding program, being crossed on Big Foot.  This should produce excellent Livestock Guardian Dogs being 3/4 Maremma and 1/4 Great Pyrenese.

Unfortunately, Sassy took to wandering and was recently killed in a car accident.  She was an excellent dog that will be missed.

Little Foot and Badger

2 puppies by Big Foot out of a Great Pyrenese/Mastiff cross.  These guys are excellent workers.  Little Foot has moved on to his own boer herd.  Badger has moved on to his own pygmy herd where he is doing an excellent job.  We hope that Big Foot will continue producing puppies this nice with built in instinct and sweet personalities.
