We are by  NO means cowboy bronc riders although we can handle a little tougher project horse.  If your horse has a history of severe bucking or rearing we will be happy to recommend a more qualified trainer!  

Horses started here learn the basics of patience and respect.  They are given a solid educational foundation that can take them anywhere their conformation and mentalitly allows them to go.  

 After 60 days most horses bend laterally and are on their way to giving vertically.  They ride confidentally outside of the roundpen.  After 90 days horses are well on their way to giving vertically, moving off of leg aids, and stepping over ground poles.  And they have been exposed to a few trail rides guided by an experienced horse.

Full Training Board Includes:

• Stall board
• Excellent Feed twice/day - kind depending on what your horse needs - mostly a 14%, 6% fat pellet
• Free choice coastal, supplemented with an Orchard/Alfalfa mix
• Turnout daily, weather permitting, with pasture buddies
• All the lessons you can take on one of my horses and then your own as it progresses.

Full Training Board is $600/month

We want you to be able to ride and communicate with your horse so all the lessons you can come to are important and inculded in the price.  We would like to see you everyday!

 Horses begin by learning to accept the saddle and being patient while being tied out. 

Then we move to round pen work and ground driving.

 
 After we have gained their trust, we move outside the round pen.
 The end result is a willing horse that is able to communicate with the rider and a trust that will last.
 Don't let our western saddles fool you.  Horses started here have gone on to all kinds of jobs from trail horses, hunter under saddle, dressage, eventing, and reining.Success Story:The black and white paint above had been in 2 previous saddling accidents and was terrified of being saddled.  Today she stands quietly, pateintly, and relaxed to be saddle.
